too much smoking

I purchased tickets for my teenage daughter and a friend. We were very excited for the concert. There were 3 ladies in front of our seats, obviously having a good time out, and one of which was smoking pot, blowing it into the people in front of them, around them, and into our row due to the wind flow. Needless to say it ruined my experience because I don't smoke and it was extremely offensive to smell this through the concert. I did not want to cause issues with these people and yet was really hoping security would notice but they did not. I did see NO SMOKING up on the screens before the concert started so they must have some sort of policy.

If I could rate it lower I would

This was the worst concert experience I have ever had. Ak-Chin was extremely overbooked to the point where it was unsafe. A person in our party was disabled and so we tried to get there early for access to the accessible seating, however it took us over 2 hours to get to the venue due to all the traffic, when it normally would have only taken about 45 minutes) and when we got there we got told that they had OVERBOOKED the accessible seating area. The walkways in the lawn were filled with people when they are supposed to be mostly clear and there were a ton of people smoking and flicking their cigarette ashes into the grass. It was so packed that we were standing at the very back of the lawn by the VIP section and we could barely hear Stevie and we could not see her when she eventually came on. If it were any other artist, like one who got the crowd really hyped up or if there was any kind of emergency, it easily would have turned into a crowd surge and people would have been trampled and hurt. We ended up leaving not even 3 songs in and when we went to one of the LiveNation tents, the one where they told us initially that accessible seating was overbooked, we told them that there were too many people they literally laughed at me, my wife, and my mother in law. When we left the venue to head back to our car, we say that they literally had cars parking on the rock medians and on the side of the parking lots where there are not actual parking spaces because there wasn't enough room for all the cars.

History on Stage

Stevie is amazing. Absolutely amazing. Having been a fan from the beginning, seeing her at the age of 74 perform on stage at the level she did was a gift second to none. Has she altered her register? Yes. Was she limited on stage because of a broken toe? Yes. Did any of this diminish the sheer magnificence of her voice and her messages through her music? Not even a little bit!! I took all of my adult children to see her this time and felt like the luckiest Mom in the world to share Stevie and her mastery of music with my children. Her tributes to Tom Petty, Christine McVie and Prince touched my heart in places I will carry with me. Much Love Stevie.....Much Love!!!

A GOOD time was had by all

Went my second ever Stevie concert. It was great to see so many fans in their Stevie-verse outfits. We got to Climate Pledge Arena about 6:30, had no problem getting in the main entry, went right to our seats. Very helpful staff. I am mobility challenged but I had not bought ADA seats for this event. Staff helped me get seated no problem. I admit I have had lower seating there for other events, but still good view of the stage from a slightly high elevation this time. Opening started promptly at 7'ish. I believe her name was CIL? She was a newbie to public performance she said. Not my favorite, but she was one lucky gal for getting to open for Stevie Nicks, so I am sure she will go far. Stevie came on, and well she was at her prime. Sound was amazing not a bad seat in the house for feeling every word she sang or spoke. She was ever much the legend she has earned to be called. Timeless songs, timeless delivery of emotion. Stevie makes you feel like she's your next door bestie at the same time as she feels like your are in the presents of royalty. I was very moved the performance of Landslide and Stevie words of deduction to the equally wonderful Christine McVie. The magical mist of both Christine and Stevie will remain long after the glitter fades. Only buzzkill at any show like this is the attendees who seems to only be there to consume countless drinks and then have to countlessly relief themselves, causing massive disruption to those who then have to stand up repeatedly to let them in/out. FFS, I paid for a seat to watch the show, not do a workout and miss the best parts b/c you drank too much and now have to pee 8x
